Federation of Tamilnadu Muslim Women on Massive Silent Protest in Chennai

The Muslim Women (Protection of Marriage Rights) Bill 2017 has been passed by the Central Government in the Lok Sabha and is pending in the Rajya Sabha of the Parliament. This Triple Talaq Bill gives 3 Years Imprisonment, Cognisable (Any third party can complain without

witness or proof), NON BAILABLE PUNISHMENT to the husband uttering Talaq. This is total injustice to the Women and Children, and is moreover interfering into the Shariah (DIVINE LAW) and depriving the constitutional rights to practise the Muslim personal laws in India.

The Central BJP Government is constantly propagating wrong message that the Muslim Women of India are welcoming this bill and also propagating falsely that the Muslim Women are thanking the BJP government for giving them equal rights and liberty. To oppose this wrong propaganda about the Muslim Women, to uphold the constitutional rights, Muslim Women have been holding massive silent protest rallies & Public meetings in different states of India.
